Virtual Physician: 24 Hours

This interactive digital training is based upon a “day in the life” concept. In 24 Hours, the participant will follow a documentary-style approach to a 24-hour period in the life of a real specialist. This specialist(s) will be a real physician from a high-caliber medical center. The participant will experience the physician’s “real world” as he or she tags along and observes the specialist performing daily activities in the clinical setting. The specialist can also be followed from the clinic/hospital setting back into a community-based practice, if applicable.

 

In general, the participant will learn and review the following:

 

• A typical day in the life of the specialist
• The diseases, procedures, and patient types the specialist treats
• The current approaches to diagnosis and treatment
• The role of the physician in managing the patients and diseases
• The common needs and concerns for the specialist
