The Patient Journey: Traveling Through Diagnosis, Treatment, & Outcomes
Every patient tells a story – a personal story of surprise and denial at the initial diagnosis, anxiety and fear at the unknown events and future outcomes that lie ahead, hope and healing through treatment and caring of loved ones and healthcare providers, and all the in-betweens along the way on this worrisome patient journey. We believe one of the best ways to learn about a disease and its diagnosis, the role of the treatment team members, and their decision-making process, as well as all that a treatment has to offer, is to listen to the experiences of patients.
Through the lens of our video camera, the learner becomes the patient.
The participant walks into the lobby of the medical center and meets the clinic receptionist, the physician, and the infusion nurse and sees the CAT scans or lab results, etc. These customized, “real” situations present data from actual patients in a particular disease category and reflect the learning objectives of our clients.
After experiencing The Patient Journey, sales representatives will realize that they are not just selling a drug, but a potential solution for many patients in need. Their conversations and goals with healthcare providers will take on a more engaging, outcome-driven style as they present key data and treatment options through the lens of their new patient-centered mindset.
